How to enter the country if you are denied boarding or entry
If you are denied entry or boarding a flight to Vietnam due to your passport being valid for less than six months or you being a national of a country that requires a visa and you have not obtained a visa, our authorized company will obtain an Urgent Visa in the quickest and shortest time possible, allowing you to board the flight and enter the country.

Entering Vietnam
Citizens of visa-exempt countries do not need a visa if they are staying for tourism purposes for up to 45 days. A visa is mandatory for stays of 46 days or more.
*People from countries other than those eligible for visa exemption will need to obtain a visa.
Generally, your passport must have at least six months validity remaining upon entry.

How to get a Vietnam visa
Emergency: The fastest and shortest way to get a Vietnam visa is by getting an emergency visa.
We will apply for and obtain your visa urgently and give it to you in PDF format. *You will need to print it out.
For business purposes: To obtain a business visa for Vietnam, you must first obtain an approval letter in Vietnam. By submitting this approval letter, you can obtain a visa on arrival.
Alternatively, you can get a visa by submitting an approval letter along with your application to one of the Vietnamese embassies outside Vietnam (in the case of Japan, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Tokyo or the Consulate-General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Osaka or Fukuoka). Going through a Vietnamese embassy is the slowest way to obtain a visa, and requires more time and effort than an emergency visa or a visa on arrival.

Procedure for obtaining an arrival visa and entering the country

Tourist visa (DL)
Japanese nationals are not required to obtain a visa if they stay in Japan for less than 15 days, as this country is eligible for visa exemption. However, in the following cases, you are required to obtain a visa.
・When staying for more than 46 days for sightseeing purposes

Business visa (DN)
You are required to obtain a business visa (DN) for business purposes such as business negotiations, inspections, and meetings.
Working visa (LD)
This is a visa required when staying in Vietnam and working for a foreign-owned company. For foreigners to work in Vietnam, two types of official documents are required: a work visa (LD) and a work permit (WP).
・If the stay is less than 3 months, there is no need to apply for a work permit.
・If you plan to work for more than one year, apply for a temporary residence card (TCR) instead of a work visa.
This TCR validity period is from 2 to 5 years.
Family Visa (TT)
This is a VISA that you will get when you are accompanied by a family member of a worker living in Vietnam.
Since it is based on the worker's work visa and work permit, the length of stay is the same. For long-term stays, switch to a residence card.
